The Aftersales Manager is mainly responsible for handling the overall business of Aftersales Service, its day to day operations by ensuring efficient workshop operations and managing the manpower performance. He also ensures the implementation and compliance to Company / Principal standards.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversees the following areas: Efficient Workshop Operations, Technical Service and Warranty Claiming Operations, Aftersales Support Operations (tool room keepers, drivers, etc.);
- Implements internal control systems and procedures aligned with General Distributor (GD) for Operational excellence.
- Conceptualizes various Aftersales programs and activities in both internal and external aspects which would eventually aim to hit the target set by management; ensures package prices are updated and visible to customers.
- Recommends program initiatives to enhance the customer service experience;
- Analyze Service and Parts production figures and Aftersales Metrics that are deemed essential in hitting the Aftersales target, URs and revenue;
- Maintains the cleanliness and orderliness in the respective areas of responsibilities of the Aftersales operations;
- Conducts regular meetings amongst Aftersales associates in order to discuss operational procedures and concerns;
- Conduct regular department Tool Box Meetings and Recap for the Day
- Ensures coordination and completion of distributor's vehicle service measures
- Perform and document random Internal Quality Check (in some cases, Blind Quality Check)
- Monitors the performance of all direct reports on a daily basis and adherence to policies
- Leads, motivates and develops the after sales staff;
- Performs service advisor duties in case of absences
- Responsible for the dealership Performance presentation to upper management.
- Complies with the requirements of dealer standards
- Handles other tasks that are assigned from time to time
- Ensures coordination and completion of distributor's vehicle service measures
