Your Role as Accounts Receivable Officer

As an
Accounts Receivable Officer
, you'll be responsible for managing client invoicing, tracking payments, and ensuring accounts are accurate and up to date. You'll play a vital role in keeping cash flow strong while building positive relationships with clients and supporting the finance team's overall success.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Uploading customer receipt information into the ERP system, and matching customer payments to corresponding customer accounts and sales invoices
• Preparing & generating customer statements on a weekly basis, or as requested by the customer
• Performing daily and monthly bank reconciliations
• Preparing & issuing reports to key stakeholders on customer overdue balances and KPIs
• Preparing intercompany invoices & conducting intercompany reconciliation
• Assisting with processing customer payments on a daily and weekly basis
• Tracking key performance metrics
• Monitoring customer accounts to identify overdue payments
• Posting journal entries in the ERP system
• Assisting with month end close and preparation of management accounts
• Identify trends, potential risks and areas for improvement
• Assisting with any ad hoc financial analysis & information requests as required
• Project work as required to improve overall business processes and controls

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Proven experience in
  Accounts Receivable
  or similar finance role
• Strong understanding of billing, collections, and reconciliation processes
• Experience with using ERP systems or accounting systems (experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is highly regarded)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (experience with using VLOOKUP/SUMIFS formulas & pivot tables is a must)
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
