The Events Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing events that meet company standards and client expectations. This role involves coordinating with internal teams, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth event operations from pre-event preparation to post-event evaluation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and executing company events, meetings, and special functions.
  • Coordinate event logistics such as venue setup, décor, catering, audio-visual requirements, and transportation.
  • Communicate with clients to understand event needs and ensure all requirements are met.
  • Liaise with suppliers and service providers to secure materials, equipment, and services for events.
  • Prepare event proposals, budgets, and timelines.
  • Conduct site inspections, meetings, and event walkthroughs.
  • Oversee on-site event operations, ensuring smooth flow and addressing any concerns immediately.
  • Manage event registration, guest lists, and attendance tracking.
  • Support marketing and promotional efforts related to events.
  • Prepare post-event reports and evaluate event success for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Events Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field.
  • Experience in event coordination or similar role is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple events simultaneously.
  • Willing to work long hours, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic design or layout tools is a plus.
