Your Role

As an Events and Digital Marketing Specialist , you are responsible for:

Digital Marketing

  • Website/Content: Update website and post content via WordPress.
  • Campaigns: Execute digital outreach, including email marketing, landing page management, and campaign execution.
  • CRM/Automation: Build event email sequences/automations and use HubSpot (or equivalent CRM) for setup, tracking, and lead nurturing.
  • Social Media: Assist with social media content (scheduling, engagement, basic Canva design).
  • Optimization: Contribute to SEO and analytics to improve discoverability.

Events Operations

  • Logistics: Manage all logistical and administrative tasks.
  • Event Software: Operate and manage EventsAir for registration, portals, and attendee apps.
  • Vendor/Venue: Assist with venue/vendor communications, sourcing, and contracts.
  • Coordination: Coordinate accommodation, catering, satchel logistics, and event packs.
  • Checks/On-Site: Conduct run-sheet/registration list checks and assist on-site during set-up/pack-down.
  • Stakeholders: Coordinate with speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors.
  • Financial: Support budget reporting and liaise with finance on reconciliation and invoices.
  • Planning/Review: Attend internal/client meetings, contribute to creative concepts, and participate in post-event debriefs.

  • Organisational: Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Technical: Aptitude with CRM systems (HubSpot, EventsAir), WordPress, and ability to quickly adapt to new software.
  • Mindset: Data-driven, customer-first approach, ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Work Style: Strong initiative; ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
  • Experience: Previous industry experience is favourable but not essential.
