Job Overview

Matinloc Island Resort is seeking a Food & Beverage Associate to deliver exceptional dining service and ensure a memorable experience for our guests. This role is essential in maintaining the resort's high standards of hospitality through attentive service, proper food and beverage handling, and seamless coordination with the kitchen and bar teams. The successful candidate will assist in daily restaurant operations, guest service, and maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly, assist with seating, and provide menu recommendations as needed.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and ensure timely service to guests.
  • Serve food and drinks according to resort standards, ensuring proper etiquette and presentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service stations, and work areas.
  • Assist in setting up tables, arranging linens, and preparing dining spaces for service.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff for smooth order flow and resolve any guest concerns promptly.
  • Handle payments accurately and process billing through POS systems.
  • Support banquet or special event setups when required.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.

Qualifications

  • Vocational certificate or degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or related field (preferred).
  • Experience in food and beverage service, hotel dining, or restaurant operations is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Friendly, energetic, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge in basic food handling, wine service, or POS operation is a plus.
  • Willingness to be assigned in El Nido, Palawan.
