Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a gaming and sport entertainment company. Our client is looking for a Deputy Legal Director who will oversee the organization's legal operations, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, managing legal risk, and providing strategic legal guidance. This role reports to the Legal Director and is based in Taguig City.

Tasks and Responsibilities: Provide expert legal advice to senior leadership on a wide range of legal and regulatory matters. Assist in developing and implementing legal strategies that support organizational goals. Develop and implement compliance programs aligned with PAGCOR, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations, and other applicable Philippine laws.

Ensure full compliance with the Data Privacy Act and uphold data protection standards. Review, draft, and negotiate complex contracts, agreements, and legal documents. Lead or oversee litigation and dispute resolution, working closely with external counsel as needed.

Monitor legal risks in corporate governance, business operations, and compliance, recommending proactive measures. Support corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships. Oversee internal legal staff, delegate tasks, and provide mentorship and development support.

Ensure timely compliance with local, national, and international laws, especially in regulated industries. Participate in board and executive meetings to provide legal input on key initiatives. Represent the organization in negotiations and external engagements.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Law and membership in the Philippine Bar. Minimum of 10 years of legal experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role. Experience in the Hotel & Casino or iGaming industry.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent management and presentation skills; goal-oriented with strong interpersonal abilities. Resilient physically and emotionally, capable of performing under pressure in fast-paced environments.
