Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare food orders indicated in the Order Slip (OS) by following standard procedures for each station.
  • Set up workstations and gather all necessary ingredients and supplies needed for service.
  • Prepare a variety of dishes as part of Frankie's Menu, including sauces and garnishes appropriate for each station.
  • Ensure all products assembled are of high quality, meet serving standards, and are prepared accurately and on time, including special requests.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, stockroom, and workstations—including washing dishes and utensils, mopping floors, and storing items properly.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, hygiene, and grooming guidelines consistently.
  • Use kitchen tools and equipment properly, following the manufacturer's instructions.
  • Monitor the condition of stocks, practice FIFO (First In, First Out), and ensure inventory completeness and quality at all times.
  • Conduct regular inventory of station tools, raw materials, and supplies, ensuring all items are accounted for.
  • Log and report wastage, spoilage, and expired items, and reconcile with theoretical POS counts.
  • Label, cover, date, and store all food prep items correctly to maintain freshness and food safety.
  • Notify the Head Cook or Supervisor of any potential shortages in advance.
  • Complete all required station and area reports accurately and on time.
  • Follow the proper opening and closing procedures of the kitchen as per standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the shift.
