Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team and provide critical support during both the pre-construction and construction phases of our projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in major construction works and proven expertise as a Builder's Quantity Surveyor.

This role requires excellent communication skills, particularly in English, and the ability to work closely with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure accurate cost management and smooth project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow forecasts for projects.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for pre-construction planning.
  • Manage tendering processes, including preparing bills of quantities and contract documents.
  • Monitor and control costs throughout the construction phase.
  • Assess variations, claims, and changes to project scope.
  • Prepare progress reports and financial statements for management.
  • Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure accurate cost tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with building regulations, contractual obligations, and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Builder's Quantity Surveyor in major construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of cost planning, contract administration, and construction processes.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English (written and verbal).
  • Proficiency in relevant QS and project management software.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
  • Professional accreditation (e.g., RICS or equivalent) is an advantage
