You will be required to assist in all aspects of the quality assurance function, which may at times extend beyond the duties listed below.

Managing the day-to-day QA operations such as writing and executing test cases, managing test cycles, coordinating with internal stakeholders and technology partners, and ensuring overall product quality across our Salesforce platform.

This will require you to develop detailed test scripts, execute manual and automated testing, validate requirements against business needs, and ensure all QA activities remain aligned with technical, functional, and quality objectives.

Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and business teams to gain a strong understanding of requirements and user stories.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and support sprint planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Write comprehensive test scripts including preconditions, step-by-step instructions, and expected outcomes.
  • Review and interpret Acceptance Criteria to design both manual and automated test scenarios.
  • Execute test cases across functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing.
  • Identify, document, and triage defects, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution.
  • Work with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence to manage tickets, track progress, and document QA activities.
  • Utilise test management tools such as Zephyr or Xray to maintain test cases, test cycles, execution logs, and reports.
  • Provide regular QA status updates, highlight risks, and recommend improvements to stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and documentation.
  • Stay updated with modern testing methodologies, tools, automation frameworks, and Salesforce releases.
  • Ensure all QA outputs meet internal quality guidelines and industry best practices.
  • Work effectively in a remote environment while maintaining strong communication, accountability, and delivery discipline.

Responsibilities:

  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
  • Proven experience testing Salesforce applications within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce ecosystem components including configuration, customisation, integrations, and workflows.
  • Experience writing detailed test cases, test scripts, and expected results.
  • Solid understanding of testing fundamentals, techniques, and methodologies.
  • Strong defect reporting and triaging skills using Jira or similar platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with test management tools such as Zephyr or Xray.
  • Experience working in Agile Scrum teams with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to work across teams and collaborate via email, messaging platforms, and virtual meetings.
  • Ability to work remotely, manage tasks independently, and take full accountability for deliverables.
