Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Tax Analyst located in Pasig. The Tax Analyst will be responsible for tax planning, tax preparation, and compliance with tax laws. The role will involve day-to-day tasks related to tax management and financial planning within the company.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in tax compliance, accounting, or a related role.
  • Exposure to telecom or large corporate environments is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with SAP (FI/CO and tax modules) is a plus.

Tax Compliance Support:

  • Assist in preparing and filing tax returns, including corporate income tax, VAT, and withholding tax.
  • Ensure accurate computation of taxes and proper documentation of tax filings.
  • Maintain organized records of tax filings and payments.

Reconciliations and Data Management:

  • Perform reconciliations of tax accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies
  • Update and maintain tax data in SAP to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Support month-end and year-end tax-related accounting activities.

Audit Support:

  • Provide necessary documentation and responses for internal and external tax audits.
  • Assist in preparing audit schedules and resolving queries related to tax compliance.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and company policies.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate application.

Collaboration and Reporting:

  • Work closely with the Tax Supervisor and other team members to meet deadlines and ensure accurate reporting. Assist in preparing tax-related reports and analyses as needed.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline tax processes and improve efficiency.
  • Suggest enhancements to the use of SAP for tax-related tasks.
