Job Summary:

The Ward Nurse provides direct and holistic nursing care to patients admitted in the hospital ward. Responsible for monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, assisting physicians during rounds and procedures, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment conducive to recovery.


Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Provide direct patient care according to physician orders and nursing standards.
  2. Administer medications and treatments accurately and on schedule.
  3. Monitor, record, and report patients' vital signs and health status.
  4. Assist doctors during examinations and medical procedures.
  5. Educate patients and families regarding health care, discharge instructions, and medication use.
  6. Maintain cleanliness, safety, and infection control within the ward.
  7. Document nursing care and ensure completeness of medical records.
  8. Coordinate with other departments for patient needs and transfers.
  9. Respond promptly to medical emergencies and perform basic life support when necessary.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • License: Registered Nurse (PRC)
  • Experience: Preferably with hospital or clinical experience
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
