Job Summary

We are seeking a highly competent and experienced
Senior General Accountant
to lead our

accounting operations. This position plays a key role in ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP and supports our company's growth across multiple renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities:

US GAAP and Financial Reporting

  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes under US GAAP
  • Prepare full set of financial statements and reconciliations
  • Assist in consolidation reporting with the parent company (if applicable)

Audit and Compliance

  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants
  • Ensure audit-readiness and internal control compliance
  • Prepare working papers, schedules, and audit memos

Management and Team Leadership

  • Supervise junior accountants and ensure task quality
  • Provide training, reviews, and performance feedback
  • Oversee daily bookkeeping, AR/AP, payroll entries, and asset tracking

Forecasting and Budgeting

  • Support CFO in preparing monthly financial forecast and variance analysis
  • Collaborate on budgeting process and project cost control

System and Process Enhancement

  • Assist in the transition or implementation of accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP)
  • Standardize accounting procedures aligned with internal policies and international best practices

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or Finance
  • Must be CPA (Philippines) or international equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of Accounting experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in general ledger accounting and monthly closings under US GAAP
  • Experience in corporate bookkeeping, financial forecasting, audit collaboration, and team supervision.
  • Strong English communication skills, written and verbal
  • Experience working with external auditors and tax agents
  • Team management or supervisory experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in energy, infrastructure, or capital-intensive industries
  • Experience working with US or multinational companies
  • Familiarity with IFRS, SEC reporting, or SOX compliance is a plus
  • Skilled in Excel (Pivot, VLOOKUP, PowerQuery) and accounting platforms (QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, SAP)
