As a Senior Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

• Lead the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) process, including annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans tailored to home health operations.
• Provide executive leadership with strategic insights on financial performance, reimbursement trends (Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance), and operational efficiencies.
• Monitor cash flow, payer mix, accounts receivable, and revenue cycle management to ensure financial stability and liquidity.
• Analyze margins by service line and referral source to guide strategic decision-making and growth initiatives.
• Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to align resource allocation with patient care objectives and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and manage dashboards and KPIs to track profitability, patient census trends, and staffing efficiency.
• Ensure financial compliance with Medicare/Medicaid cost reporting requirements, audits, and other industry-specific standards.
• Support due diligence, valuation, and integration for new acquisitions or expansions.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to support both financial and mission-driven goals.
• Act as a liaison with external auditors, banks, and other financial institutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, or related field (MBA, MHA, or CPA preferred).
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably in home health care, hospice, or healthcare services.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement, CMS regulations, and value-based care models.
• Experience with EMR and financial systems common in home health (e.g., Homecare Homebase, Wellsky, NetSuite, QuickBooks).
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
