About the role

Join the team at ICHIJI FOODS CORP.' as a Regulatory Officer. This full-time position is based in Quezon City Metro Manila and is responsible for ensuring the company's products and operations comply with all relevant regulations and quality standards. In this strategically important role, you will play a key part in maintaining ICHIJI FOODS CORP.'s reputation for excellence in the manufacturing, transport and logistics industry.

What you'll be doing

  1. Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance across all ICHIJI FOODS CORP. operations
  2. Monitoring changes in relevant laws, regulations and industry standards, and updating the company's practices accordingly
  3. Conducting regular audits and inspections to identify and address any non-compliance issues
  4. Liaising with government agencies and regulatory bodies to maintain positive relationships and address any concerns
  5. Providing training and guidance to employees on regulatory requirements and quality control measures
  6. Preparing detailed reports on the company's regulatory compliance and quality performance
  7. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a consistent approach to quality assurance and control

What we're looking for

  1. Extensive experience (8+ years) working in a regulatory or quality assurance role, ideally within the manufacturing, transport or logistics industry
  2. Thorough understanding of relevant laws, regulations and quality standards applicable to the food manufacturing sector
  3. Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills to identify and address compliance issues
  4. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities to effectively liaise with regulatory bodies and internal teams
  5. Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards
  6. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
  7. Tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as Quality Assurance, Food Science or Regulatory Affairs
