About the Client

The client is a growing mortgage and finance brokerage with offices in Brisbane and Sydney. They help clients with home loans, investment lending, and commercial finance, backed by a team of experts with decades of experience. With a client-first approach and access to a wide range of lenders, the client makes the lending process simple, supportive, and rewarding.

About the Role

We're looking for a skilled Australian Mortgage Broker Admin with residential lending experience. You'll be working across a variety of lending scenarios from self-employed applicants to PAYG clients and will play a key role in structuring deals, ensuring compliance, and guiding clients smoothly through the loan process.

Ideal Candidate (Must Have Experience)
  • Minimum 3 years' Australian residential lending experience (Self-employed & PAYG clients)
  • Commercial lending exposure looked at favourably
  • Strong understanding of mortgage processes, compliance, and settlement workflows
  • Excellent credit knowledge and financial interpretation skills
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and process-driven
  • Confident communicator with strong client relationship skills
  • Employee work setup will be dependent on the client's discretion
Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Structure, prepare, and submit residential and commercial loan applications
  • Review financial statements and tax returns to assess creditworthiness
  • Work with CRM/aggregator systems (Mercury, Apply Online preferred)
  • Navigate multiple bank policies to place deals effectively
  • Collect, verify, and package client documents for submission
  • Maintain accurate and compliant loan files
  • Liaise with lenders, solicitors, and clients to ensure smooth settlements
