The Scrum Master is responsible for promoting and supporting Scrum practices, values, and principles within the team and the organization. This role ensures the Agile team is productive, motivated, and continuously improving by removing impediments, facilitating collaboration, and fostering a culture of transparency and accountability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate all Agile ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives).
  • Act as a servant leader and coach for the Scrum team, guiding them in self-organization and cross-functionality.
  • Remove impediments and resolve conflicts that may hinder the team's progress.
  • Ensure the development team delivers value by helping them focus on high-priority items.
  • Support the Product Owner in managing the product backlog and ensuring clarity of requirements.
  • Promote Agile principles and practices across teams and stakeholders.
  • Track and report team performance metrics (velocity, burndown, etc.) to stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
  • Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches to improve organizational agility.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or in a similar Agile role.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.).
  • Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Certification preferred (CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent).
