GENERAL JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports daily warehouse and logistics operations by handling the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
  • This role ensures inventory accuracy, assists in organizing and maintaining warehouse areas, and coordinates with logistics teams for timely delivery of materials and products.
  • The position involves manual handling, inventory tracking, and documentation to ensure efficient and orderly warehouse processes.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum of [3] years of experience in warehouse and logistics operations
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems and logistics software
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control, warehousing, and distribution principles

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive incoming deliveries by unloading goods from delivery vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Verify delivery documents such as packing lists, purchase orders, and invoices to ensure accuracy and completeness of shipments.
  • Inspect received goods for damage, defects, or discrepancies in quantity, and report any issues to the Warehouse Supervisor or relevant department.
  • Check product specifications (e.g., size, weight, expiration dates) to confirm they meet the required standards and purchase order details.
  • Ensure safe handling of goods during unloading and inspection to prevent product or equipment damage.
  • Organize received items for proper storage or further processing in the warehouse.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by updating stock levels in inventory systems or logs after each transaction.
  • Report inventory discrepancies such as missing, excess, or damaged items to the Warehouse Supervisor for immediate resolution.
  • Pick items accurately based on pick lists or order forms, ensuring the correct quantity, type, and product specifications are selected.
  • Place picked items in designated areas or containers for packing or dispatch, ensuring clear labeling and segregation.
  • Assist in staging completed orders in designated dispatch areas.
  • Help in loading items onto delivery vehicles, ensuring proper stacking and securing to prevent damage during transport.
