Job Summary:

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure consistent delivery of excellent customer service, food quality, and operational efficiency. The role includes managing staff performance, maintaining inventory, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and meeting financial targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage all restaurant operations, including dining, kitchen, and service areas.
  • Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead and motivate the restaurant team to achieve sales targets and maintain service excellence.
  • Manage staff schedules, attendance, and performance evaluations.
  • Monitor daily sales and expenses; prepare reports on restaurant performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Oversee inventory management, ordering, and cost control to maximize profitability.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Implement marketing and promotional activities to increase sales and brand visibility.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • At least
    2–5 years of experience
    in a supervisory or managerial role in the food and beverage industry.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of restaurant management software and POS systems.
  • Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks, and lead a team effectively.
  • Flexible to work on weekends, holidays, and shifting schedules.
