  • Makes & reviews time sheets and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies.
  • Verifies attendance, hours worked, and post information onto designated records.
  • Compiles employee time, production, and payroll data from time sheets and other records.
  • Issues and records adjustments to pay related to previous errors or retroactive increases and deduction.
  • Records employee information such as exemptions, transfers, and resignations to maintain and update payroll records.
  • Provides information to employees and managers on payroll matters, tax issues, benefit plans, and collective agreement provisions.
  • Keeps track of absences and leaves such as vacation, personal, and sick leave for employees.
  • Distributes and collects time sheets each pay period.
  • Completes time sheets showing employees' arrival and departure times.
  • Posts relevant work hours to client files to bill clients properly.

WAREHOUSE MAN

  • Moving of materials and supplies around the warehouse.

  • Signing delivery notes.

  • Reporting broken goods.

  • Packing products for dispatch.

  • Receives and inspects all incoming materials and reconciles with purchase orders; processes and distributes documentation with purchase orders; reports, documents and tracks damages and discrepancies on orders received.

  • Fills requisition slip; assists foreman to order adequate materials and supplies.
  • Ships cancelled and damaged materials back to warehouse/supplier as appropriate.
  • Maintains the warehouse and keeps its area in a neat and orderly manner.
  • Answers questions regarding procedures and resolves discrepancies regarding receipts, deliveries, warranties, repairs property.
  • Informs Purchasing Department for the purpose of maintaining availability of required items and restocking of items as necessary.
  • Cleans warehouse for the purpose of maintaining an organized layout and safe work environment.
  • Inspects warehouse equipment for the purpose of maintaining equipment in safe operating condition.
  • Inventories electronic equipment for the purpose of recording model/serial numbers into fixed asset database.
  • Maintains appropriate records and inventory of all stocked items for the purpose of providing written support and/or conveying information.
  • Recommends effective routing for the purpose of maintaining efficient delivery runs.
  • Recommends movement and/or disposal of movable equipment or supplies for the purpose of removing obsolete or deteriorating materials.
  • Schedules deliveries for the purpose of ensuring timely delivery of items.
  • Stocks equipment, materials and supplies for the purpose of maintaining required inventory levels that will ensure availability of items when requested.
  • Handles with the reporting of bi-monthly inventory report of materials and power tools.

OTHER FUNCTIONS

  • Assists other personnel as may be required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities.
