About the Role:

Discover Group of Travel Services Inc. is looking for a highly skilled and experienced IT Manager to oversee and manage the company's overall information technology infrastructure and systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all IT operations run smoothly, securely, and efficiently, while also supporting business objectives through innovation and strategic technology implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. IT Operations and Infrastructure

  • Supervise the daily operations of the IT department, including network management, system maintenance, and data security.
  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and other IT assets.
  • Ensure reliable performance of servers, databases, and company networks.
  • Develop and maintain IT policies, standards, and documentation.

2. Security and Compliance

  • Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect company data and systems.
  • Manage access control, data privacy, and backup systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and relevant data protection laws.
  • Conduct periodic system audits and risk assessments.

3. Strategic Planning and Innovation

  • Plan and implement IT strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Recommend and evaluate new technologies that can enhance business performance.
  • Prepare and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with management to support digital transformation and automation initiatives.

4. Technical Support and Leadership

  • Lead, train, and mentor the IT team to ensure productivity and professional growth.
  • Provide high-level technical support and troubleshoot complex IT issues.
  • Coordinate with other departments to provide effective technological solutions to business needs.
  • Manage third-party vendors and service providers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's degree is a plus).
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT management or similar leadership roles.
  • Proven experience in network administration, systems management, and cybersecurity.
  • Strong leadership, project management, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Experience with cloud services (Odoo, AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) and enterprise software systems is an advantage.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php35, Php40,000.00 per month
