Finance Officer

JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for a Finance Specialist who will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring timely processing of payables and receivables, coordinating with our external finance vendor and handling monthly reports and government document submissions. You will play a vital role in keeping our financial processes running smoothly and accurately. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, has experience in operational finance and enjoys working behind the scenes to keep things moving efficiently.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process and monitor incoming and outgoing payments, maintain records, and ensure timely disbursement and collection.
- Invoicing: Prepare and send invoices to clients and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Finance Reporting: Assist in the preparation and consolidation of monthly financial reports in collaboration with our third-party finance vendor.
- Vendor Coordination: Work closely with our external finance/accounting partner to ensure all records, reports, and filings are accurate and submitted on time.
- Government Compliance: Handle annual updates and submissions for BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and other government requirements.
- Expense Management: Track and report company and executive-related payables, reimbursements, and operational costs.
- Documentation: Maintain organized financial records and digital filing systems.
- Support Internal Controls: Ensure adherence to internal financial policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Specialist level: 3 years proven experience as a Finance Assistant, Accounting Associate, or similar role.
- Officer level: 6 years proven experience as a Finance Assistant, Accounting Associate, or similar role. (Preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
- Familiarity with accounting and invoicing tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel, Monday App).
- Knowledge of Philippine taxation and statutory compliance requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and coordinate with external service providers.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience working in SMEs or consulting/service firms is a plus.
