We are looking for experienced writers with 5+ years of experience with content writing in and to be part of our Content Team at Orcaru.

Job Overview:

As a Content Writer, you will play a crucial role in the fundamental aspects of our content creation process. You will collaborate with our AI system, expertly editing AI-generated blog articles. Your proficiency in humanizing machine-generated content, seamlessly incorporating new information, and infusing it with an authentic voice will captivate our audience and make sure they receive value from what they are reading.

Responsibilities:

Produce high-quality written content that accurately captures specific voices and strictly adheres to brand guidelines.

Editing AI-Generated Content: Review and edit blog articles created by our AI system, ensuring they read coherently and naturally, with impeccable grammar and punctuation.

Humanizing Tone: Enhance the AI-generated content to sound more human, injecting personality and emotion while preserving the accuracy of the information.

Content Flow: Ensure that the edited articles maintain a seamless and logical flow, providing a delightful reading experience for our audience.

Fact-Checking: Verify the accuracy of information presented in the articles, cross-referencing with reliable sources when necessary.

SEO Optimization: Incorporate relevant keywords and follow SEO best practices to enhance the discoverability and ranking of edited articles.

Content Calendar: Adhere to content production schedules and deadlines set by the Content Manager.

Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)

Conduct thorough research to identify and strategically incorporate relevant internal and external links within articles.

Curate visually engaging and relevant images that complement the written content and adhere to brand guidelines.

Create clear and informative infographics that support complex topics discussed in articles.

Skills Needed:

Engaging and educational Content

Proven ability to adapt writing style to match diverse tones and voices while maintaining brand consistency.

Impactful writing that is also attention-grabbing

Prior experience with Quillbot/Grammarly and ChatGPT

Content editing tools like: SurferSEO and Frase

Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role

Portfolio of published articles

Experience doing research using multiple sources

Familiarity with web publications

Excellent speaking, writing and editing skills in English

Ability to meet deadlines

BSc in Marketing, English, Journalism or related field
