The Quality Assurance Team Leader supports the QA Supervisor in ensuring the implementation of quality standards and procedures within operations. This role leads a team of QA staff in conducting daily inspections, monitoring compliance, and ensuring that all operational processes are aligned with J&T Express standards, especially in parcel handling, facility upkeep, and security monitoring.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Team Supervision and Task Delegation

Lead and supervise QA personnel during their daily tasks and assignments.

Ensure all team members are properly briefed on duties and follow quality protocols.

Provide coaching and guidance to improve team performance and efficiency.

  1. Operational Inspection and Compliance

Assist in checking cleanliness and orderliness of work areas, equipment, and storage facilities.

Ensure compliance with company SOPs on parcel handling, documentation, and remittance.

Monitor parcel sorting and handling, especially for high-risk parcels (damaged, headless, or COD items).

  1. CCTV and Incident Monitoring

Oversee CCTV monitoring for daily operations, especially during parcel investigation, opening, and processing.

Coordinate with IT or Maintenance if any camera system is offline or malfunctioning.

  1. Reporting and Documentation

Submit daily and weekly QA activity reports to the QA Supervisor.

Document any violations or incidents, and initiate immediate corrective actions if needed.

Assist in investigations related to parcel loss, misdelivery, or tampering.

  1. Coordination and Communication

Act as liaison between QA staff and supervisors to ensure smooth flow of operations.

Coordinate with other departments (e.g., Sprinter team, Inventory, Admin) for quality-related concerns.
