Job Summary:

The
Production Supervisor
is responsible for overseeing day-to-day feed manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient production output, compliance with quality and safety standards, and effective utilization of manpower, raw materials, and equipment. The role supervises production staff, monitors plant performance, and coordinates with other departments to achieve production targets and maintain plant reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage feed mill production activities to ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
  • Monitor machine operations, plant performance, and process parameters to maintain efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Coordinate production schedules with planning, procurement, and logistics to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Ensure proper utilization of raw materials while minimizing waste and controlling production costs.
  • Implement and enforce safety, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP, and biosecurity standards in all production processes.
  • Conduct routine inspections of equipment and work areas, and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance with the Engineering team.
  • Supervise and train production staff, ensuring adherence to company policies, SOPs, and safety procedures.
  • Prepare and submit regular production reports, including yield, efficiency, downtime, and quality deviations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 2–5 years of experience in feed manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of feed mill operations, raw material handling, pelleting, mixing, and packaging processes.
  • Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, ISO, and safety standards.
