Cafe Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cafe Supervisor to join our team. You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our bustling cafe, ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest standards of food preparation and presentation.

What you'll be doing

1. Supervising and coordinating the work of cafe staff, including baristas, servers and kitchen staff
2. Monitoring inventory and placing orders for supplies, ingredients and equipment
3. Ensuring compliance with health, safety and food hygiene regulations
4. Developing and implementing staff training programs to enhance customer service and productivity
5. Managing customer feedback and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner
6. Analysing sales data and customer trends to identify opportunities for improvement
7. Collaborating with the culinary team to develop new menu items and promote seasonal offerings

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a cafe, restaurant or similar hospitality setting
2. Proven track record of effectively managing and motivating a team
3. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to deliver a seamless dining experience
4. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
5. Proficient in inventory management and cost control
6. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
