We're Hiring: Operations Executive (Freight Forwarding)

Location: Iloilo, Philippines

Employment Type: Full-time

Join SAMLEX as an Operations Executive and play a key role in end-to-end sea import operations—from job creation to shipment release. You will serve as the vital link between customers, agents, and internal teams, ensuring timely, accurate, and efficient shipment handling.


Key Responsibilities
  • Handle Air, Sea, LCL, and Consolidation shipments.
  • Record and update shipment details in the logistics system.
  • Provide professional and timely communication to clients via phone and email.
  • Manage documentation, filing, and maintain shipment records.
  • Coordinate logistics requirements directly with clients.
  • Facilitate cargo clearance processes at ports.
  • Collaborate with overseas agents from nomination to shipment arrival.
  • Manage bookings, track shipment progress, and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Ensure timely billing and provide weekly shipment status reports.

Qualifications
  • Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, import/export operations, or customer service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and general computer applications.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
