Location: Parañaque City (Hybrid – mix of onsite and remote work)
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for the organization, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage government reporting and compliance (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR).
- Supervise payroll staff and provide guidance to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle payroll-related audits, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance for employee data, benefits, and payroll adjustments.
- Drive process improvements and ensure payroll systems are up to date.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field.
- At least 5 years of payroll experience with 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Solid understanding of Philippine labor laws (Labor Code), tax regulations (TRAIN Law), and statutory contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
Desired Attributes:
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or similar certification is a plus.
- Experience with multinational companies or shared service environments.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and a fast-paced environment.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in payroll software/HRIS systems (e.g., SAP, DarwinBox, or local payroll systems).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis).
- Experience with general ledger reconciliation and accounting principles related to payroll
