We're looking for a Performance Marketing Manager to own and scale our paid acquisition channels. You'll have full ownership of campaign strategy, execution, and optimization across platforms - turning budget into pipeline and pipeline into revenue.

Respondent is building the infrastructure that powers participant recruiting for the research industry. Our mission is simple but ambitious: to make it effortless for researchers to find high-quality participants - whether they're testing a product, exploring a market, or validating an idea.

From our founder's first recruits on a NYC subway to a global panel of 4 million participants across 150+ countries, we now support research for companies like Microsoft, Dropbox, and P&G. Our panel is one of the most diverse and responsive in the industry.

We're a lean team of ~30 people across Sydney, Manila, and the U.S. We've recently become profitable and are ramping up to accelerate growth.

The Role

You'll own performance marketing end-to-end, working closely with our Head of Marketing. This is a high-autonomy role where you'll build and optimize campaigns that directly drive revenue growth.

We are looking for someone who's just as comfortable setting up and running campaigns, as they are thinking strategically about channel mix and budget allocation.

What You'll Do

  • Own paid acquisition channels:
    Plan, launch, and optimize campaigns across LinkedIn, Google, Meta, and other relevant platforms. You'll manage budgets, bidding strategies, and creative testing to maximize return on ad spend.
  • Drive pipeline through ABM:
    Scale high-impact ABM programs through Linkedin ads, driving a creative, data-backed approach to influencing buyers and winning and growing key accounts.
  • Build and iterate on creative:
    Partner with others in the marketing team to develop ad copy, landing pages, and other creative assets. You'll run structured tests to find what resonates with our ICP and double down on what's working.
  • Report on what matters:
    Build clear reporting that connects spend to pipeline to revenue. Surface insights that help leadership make smart decisions about where to invest.

What You'll Bring

  • Hands-on paid media experience:
    You've run campaigns across LinkedIn, Google, and Meta to attract a variety of buyer types. You're completely up-to-date with what works well on each channel today, and have a strong understanding of the role each channel plays in different buying journeys.
  • B2B SaaS or marketplace startup experience:
    You understand how to demonstrate the value of your efforts as part of a fast-paced start-up, and quickly understand where to place bets and when to double down on results.
  • Creative instincts:
    You know what makes someone stop scrolling. You can write punchy ad copy and have opinions on what good creative looks like. You also have the humility to know when you don't have the answers yet.
  • Ownership mentality:
    You don't wait to be told what to do. You see what needs to happen, make a plan, then work with the team to make it happen and own the results that come from it.
  • Flexible, growth-focused approach:
    You're always looking for ways to hone your skills. Whether that's using an AI tool to produce creative at scale or listening to a Growth-focused podcast, you're all over it.
