(1) Financial Accounting & Reporting

  • Prepare, review, and ensure accuracy of financial statements and reports.
  • Evaluate financial trends and variances, providing insights to support decision-making.
  • Assist the Assistant Manager with the preparation of executive-level reports.

(2) Month-End & Year-End Closing

  • Record adjusting entries, accruals, and other closing transactions.
  • Perform reconciliations of complex accounts, including Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
  • Support the preparation of documentation required for monthly and annual closings.

(3) Team Supervision & Development

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accountants.
  • Help train team members on accounting standards, processes, and organizational policies.
  • Participate in initiatives that enhance team knowledge and improve workflow.

(4) Internal Controls & Process Improvement

  • Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of internal control procedures to protect company assets.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting principles and internal policies.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
  • Assist in strengthening internal controls to support reliable record-keeping and reporting.

(5) Policy Development

  • Assist in revising and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Monitor daily activities to ensure compliance with established policies.
  • Provide recommendations on policy updates and effectiveness.
