This role supports the execution of cross-functional initiatives across corporate programs, helping drive progress on project plans, stakeholder communications, risk tracking, and delivery coordination. A typical day may include:

  • Attending internal status meetings and capturing actions, decisions, and risks
  • Building and updating project trackers, dashboards, and timelines
  • Coordinating with stakeholders across business units to gather updates or input
  • Drafting or refining communication materials (e.g., slide decks, updates, FAQs)
  • Monitoring project performance and assisting with reporting

This role offers growth potential and visibility into enterprise-level projects, making it ideal for someone early in their project management career.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft project charters, create project plans, timelines, and task lists
  • Scheduled meetings, agendas, action logs, and meeting minutes
  • Weekly status reports, project updates, comms summaries
  • Updated task lists, milestone tracking dashboards, progress summaries
  • Requirements documents, process flows, configuration support docs
  • Flaggng and escalating risks and blockers to leadership team for review, creating a backlog and documenting resolution
  • Testing checklists, collaborating with project team to create roll-out/go-live plans
  • Documented policy updates, translation logs, version control sheets
  • Process maps, before/after summaries, team feedback
  • Project templates, shared folder structures, tracker consistency
  • Creating and managing RACI matrices, communication plans, stakeholder alignment docs

Required Experience:

  • 1–3 years of project management experience, preferably in HR or business operations
  • Familiarity with system implementation or configuration projects (e.g., HRIS, case management tools)
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana, Excel or similar)
  • Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills
  • Experience working in a matrixed or cross-functional environment
  • Clear communicator with the ability to translate project needs across business and technical teams
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Self-starter who can manage multiple moving parts with minimal supervision
  • Adaptable and composed in fast-paced, ambiguous situations
  • Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional contributors

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Familiarity with AI model utilization (Chatgpt, copilot, etc.)
  • Exposure to HR technology platforms such as UKG, Appian, or HRSoft
  • Exposure to Project Management tools such as SmartSheet (or similar to)
  • Experience supporting global or multi-region teams, including translation/localization work
  • Knowledge of HR operations, compliance, or performance management cycles
