About the Job

Our esteemed Australian client, a trusted equipment-hire provider, is seeking a
Lead Generation Specialist
with strong experience in outbound prospecting and appointment setting. In this role, you will play a key part in driving business growth by conducting proactive outbound calls, identifying potential leads, and booking qualified meetings for the Australia-based Business Development team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project List Prospecting:
    Use project databases such as EstimateOne and BCI Central to identify current and upcoming projects. Research and confirm key decision-makers, ensuring accurate and updated contact details.
  • Outbound Calling & Appointment Setting:
    Make outbound calls to introduce the company's services and book meetings for the AU-based BDM team. Maintain accurate CRM records with detailed notes and call outcomes.
  • Focus Account Engagement:
    Engage with focus accounts in the CRM through regular communication and follow-ups to stay top-of-mind. Convert engagement into quote requests or meeting opportunities.
  • Quote Opportunity Development:
    For prospects not ready to meet, provide pricing for live or upcoming projects. Send pricing sheets and track responses to nurture leads into active quote opportunities.
  • Internal Collaboration & Administration:
    Participate in weekly check-in meetings and training sessions. Dedicate one day per week to updating CRM data, reviewing leads, and preparing outreach for the following week.

Qualifications

  • Education:
    A bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
  • Experience:
    A minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, lead generation, or appointment setting is required, preferably within the B2B construction or industrial industry.
  • Technical Skills:
    Must be proficient in using CRMs and project databases such as EstimateOne and BCI Central, with strong data management and documentation abilities.
  • Soft Skills:
    Should have excellent English communication skills (verbal and written), a proactive and organized work ethic, and a results-driven mindset. Must also be capable of managing a consistent outbound rhythm independently.
  • Language:
    Must have a strong command of written and spoken English.
