Job Purpose:
The Learning & Development (L&D) Officer is responsible for supporting the People and Culture department in the planning, coordination, and execution of all training and development initiatives. This role ensures that all learning programs are managed end-to-end, from training needs analysis to post-training evaluation, providing administrative and operational support while collaborating closely with the People and Culture Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Learning & Development Coordination
- Assist in the end-to-end planning and execution of training programs, workshops, and development initiatives.
- Handle logistics for training events, including scheduling, venue arrangements, invitations, and materials preparation.
- Monitor attendance and participation in training programs and maintain accurate training records.
- Coordinate with internal and external trainers, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

- Training Needs Analysis (TNA) Support
- Assist in identifying learning gaps and training needs across departments in collaboration with the People and Culture Manager.
- Help design assessment tools or surveys to gather input from employees and managers.
Support the development of training plans based on the identified needs.

Maintain a centralized learning and development calendar for the organization.
- Track and report on training effectiveness and participation metrics.
- Prepare post-training feedback reports and assist in evaluating training impact.
- Maintain files, certificates, and other documentation for compliance and audit purposes.
- Work closely with the People and Culture Manager to implement L&D strategies and initiatives.
- Support employee development projects, including onboarding and skills development programs.
- Assist in budgeting and cost tracking for training activities.
- Recommend improvements to training processes, materials, and delivery methods.
- Stay updated on L&D trends, tools, and best practices to enhance the organization's learning culture.
