Job description:

The Aesthetician Manager oversees the daily operations of the aesthetics department within a spa, dermatology clinic, medical spa, or beauty center. This role combines hands-on aesthetic expertise with leadership responsibilities, ensuring high standards of service, customer satisfaction, team performance, and compliance with safety and hygiene regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Management

  • Supervise and support a team of aestheticians and skincare professionals.
  • Hire, train, and onboard new staff.
  • Schedule staff shifts and manage time-off requests.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and coaching.
  • Foster a professional, collaborative, and motivating work environment.

Operational Oversight

  • Ensure smooth daily operations of the aesthetics department.
  • Monitor treatment protocols to maintain consistent service quality.
  • Maintain inventory of skincare products and supplies; place orders as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance and troubleshoot technical issues.

Client Relations & Service Quality

  • Address client concerns, feedback, and complaints professionally.
  • Ensure exceptional client service and satisfaction.
  • Assist in consultations and provide aesthetic treatments when necessary.
  • Educate clients on skincare routines and recommend suitable products/services.

Business & Financial Responsibilities

  • Monitor revenue, service sales, and retail sales; assist in meeting financial goals.
  • Help develop promotional strategies, service packages, and marketing initiatives.
  • Track KPIs and provide regular reports to upper management.
  • Control department budgets and contribute to cost-efficiency planning.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Licensed Aesthetician or Esthetician (State-certified)
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in aesthetics, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of skincare treatments, products, and equipment
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking abilities
  • Sales and customer service experience
  • Proficient with booking software and point-of-sale (POS) systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a medical spa or dermatology setting
  • Certified in advanced aesthetic treatments (e.g., laser, microneedling, chemical peels)
  • Background in business or spa management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php30,000.00 per month
