JOB PURPOSE

Oversee and manage the overall operations of HR functions from Recruitment's onboarding and offboarding, Compensation and Benefits, Employee Engagement, Labor Relations, Performance Management, Policies and Procedures Development, Health and Compliance, Training and Development of Unison Group of Companies.

Act as a strategic partner to Top Management, helping to align HR practices with organizational goals and contribute to the overall success of the company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

I. Recruitment, Onboarding, and Offboarding

  • Recruitment Management.
  • New Employee Onboarding.
  • Employee offboarding, from the supervisory level and up.

II. Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary Rates and Adjustment Management.
  • Tax Shield Allowance Administration.
  • Company Benefits Administration.
  • Government Mandated Benefits Administration.

III. Employee Engagement

  • Ensure timely creation, preparation, and execution of all approved employee engagement activities.
  • Lead committee during company-wide events.

IV. Labor Relations

  • Admin Cases Management.
  • Labor Hearings and Conflict Resolution.

V. Performance Management

  • Timely reminder of support groups' quarterly performance evaluation.
  • Ensure the 5th-month evaluation of probationary employees is monitored and released on time.
  • Checking and signing of documentation for employees due for regularization.

VI. Policies and Procedures Development

  • Formulate, present, and collaborate on policies and addendum.
  • Guide and assist other departments in the policy creation.

VII. Health, Safety, and Compliance

  • Health and safety implementation in the workplace.
  • Government-mandated compliance, particularly in the DOLE yearly compliance reports submission.

VIII. Training and Development

  • Internal training by development of the module and facilitation.
  • External training sourcing and coordination.

IX. HR Communications

  • Preparation and dissemination of memorandums, policy reminders, activities, and other organization-wide announcements.

X. Personnel Development

  • Guide staff in the daily HR related needs.
  • Correct and discuss reports and memorandums submitted for checking.
  • Coaching HR best practices.

XI. Others

  • Organizational Development Support by assisting the OD Consultant in the organizational development initiatives of the company.
  • Performs other tasks that may be assigned by the immediate superior.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate with a bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resources Management, or Business Management.
  • Minimum of 5 yrs. work-related experience in managing the human resources department and team.
  • A master's degree holder or an HR certification is an advantage.
  • Knowledgeable with all facets of Human Resource function, HR operations best practices, Labor, Employment, and Government-mandated laws.
  • With skills in people management, leadership, and excellent written and oral communication.
  • Ability to manage conflict resolution and negotiation, with strategic thinking and problem-solving, and public speaking.
