We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Associate to support the day-to-day financial operations of the company. This role involves managing accounting functions, preparing financial reports, handling inter-company transactions, and ensuring timely processing of payments. You will also liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial documentation.The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in accounting principles, experience in handling full sets of accounts, and excellent organizational and communication skills.

Job Duties

  • Support day-to-day finance and accounting functions of the Company.
  • Liaise with external auditors, company secretary and tax agent for company related matters.
  • Prepare all inter-company transactions
  • Assist in month-end closing related activities.
  • Assist in preparation of any ad hoc financial reporting as required by Stakeholders.
  • Ensure payments are processed in a timely manner.
  • Process both accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Ensure proper recording of progressive work done and billing.
  • Manage all banking related matters.
  • Assist in annual company budget and project budget
  • Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly and annual withholding tax
  • Perform any other ad-hoc tasks assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Possess at least Diploma / Degree in Accountancy or Equivalent with at least 2 years of working experience
  • Minimum 2 years of handling full set of accounts
  • Good administrative and documentation skills
  • Able to work independently and efficiently with good initiative
  • Meticulous and ability to multi-task
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Office productivities suites such as Microsoft Office.
