Location: Remote (Virtual)

Employment Type: Part-Time | Monday to Friday | 10 AM – 2 PM (Brisbane Time)

Role Purpose

The Social Media Virtual Assistant will play a key role in supporting AUSEV's digital marketing efforts by creating, editing, and managing engaging content across multiple platforms.

The ideal candidate is a creative professional with strong design and video editing skills, excellent communication abilities, and the confidence to work independently in a remote environment.


Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Editing

  • Design and edit graphics, short videos, reels, and images using tools such as:

  • Adobe Photoshop

  • Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Adobe Lightroom
  • CapCut
  • Opus Clip (or similar AI video repurposing tools)
  • Adobe InDesign (latest version)

Digital Organisation

  • Manage and maintain digital media assets and file structures for efficiency and easy access.

Key Skills & Experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of social media best practices, trends, and engagement strategies.
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated experience with Adobe Suite, CapCut, and other design/video tools.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • At minimum, foundational knowledge of Adobe Programs with the ability to expand skills.
  • Familiarity with Dropbox and Google Drive.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a social media or digital marketing role.
  • Portfolio of social media content (images, videos, reels, etc.).
  • Portfolio of graphic design work (web, digital, social).
  • Access to fast, reliable internet (required for Adobe programs).

Work Environment
  • Fully remote role with structured hours (10 AM – 2 PM, Brisbane time).
  • Ideal for a proactive, self-motivated individual who can meet deadlines without close supervision.
