The Credit and Collection Associate is responsible for managing the company's receivables by monitoring credit accounts, ensuring timely collection of payments, and maintaining accurate records of all transactions. The role involves evaluating the creditworthiness of customers, coordinating with clients regarding billing and payment concerns, and assisting in the implementation of credit policies to minimize financial risks.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and manage accounts receivable balances to ensure timely collection of payments.

Prepare and issue billing statements, invoices, and reminders to clients.

Follow up on overdue accounts through calls, emails, or written communication.

Record and reconcile payments received, ensuring accurate posting in the accounting system.

Assist in evaluating credit applications and assessing customer credit limits.

Coordinate with the Sales and Accounting departments for payment discrepancies and customer disputes.

Prepare collection reports and aging analyses for management review.

Maintain organized and updated customer account records and collection files.

Support in implementing credit and collection policies and procedures.

Perform other related tasks as may be assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or any related field.

Preferably with 1–2 years of experience in credit and collection or related accounting functions (fresh graduates may also be considered).

Knowledge of basic accounting principles and credit management.

Proficient in MS Office applications (especially Excel) and familiar with accounting software.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Detail-oriented, trustworthy, and able to handle confidential financial information.
