Job Description

  • Receives Notice of Arrivals (NOA), advice, information from shipping lines, forwarding agents, consolidators, suppliers or from the buyers themselves for the cargo arrival
  • Request original shipping documents directly from suppliers or through buyers
  • Checks invoice and packing lists costs and quantities against Purchase Order issued
  • Prepares and creates JO for SEA/AIR shipments
  • Prepares, checks and does computation for shipment arrival per advised/ received notice of arrival (NOA) or per AWBL
  • Prepares payment order for received Final Assessment Notice (FAN) for every entry filed and lodged to Bureau of Customs
  • Does the parking and SAP posting of payments processing assessed customs duties & taxes
  • Requests from Treasury Fund Management funding for payment of duties & taxes above five hundred (500,000) thousand PHP
  • Monitors air shipment customs releasing of importations and provide supplementary required documents needed by the forwarder broker
  • In-charge of updates to end-user's queries on the status of shipment's customs release and delivery
  • In charge of processing, SAP parking and posting of advance payment and Petron Singapore Trading Pte (PSTPL) invoices
  • In-charge of final review of duties & taxes computations especially in determining the appropriate HS code or Tariff Code and Rate of duty to be use in declaring the entry for lodgment to Bureau of Customs
  • Answers queries, complies requests and make updates for all importations and payments statuses to end users, suppliers, buyer & higher ups and make coordination to broker's, shipping lines, forwarders, shipping agents, surveyors
  • Liaises with government agencies for permits and clearances needed in customs releasing such as the NTC, DOH, OMB, BIR and etc
  • Prepares and secures all the documentary requirements of BOC- Accreditation to secure BOC-Account Management Office Certificate so as to transact and do business in the Bureau as importer and the yearly renewal of Client Profile Registration System (CPRS) to secure Certificate of Registration (COR) authorizing Petron as consignee to file, lodge the entries and pay the assessed duties & taxes via on line and to release the cargo via BOC - On Line Release System (OLRS)
  • Does some computations of Total Landed Cost and Cost computations request by buyers both from materials & CAPEX for PO endorsement, award, and issuance references

Qualifications

  • Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Customs Administration, Brokerage or similar programs
  • Must have a strong background in freight forwarding, logistics, traffic and customs' releasing
