Job Summary

The Research and Development Specialist focuses on product research and process development, improvement of new and bestselling products for its assigned category.

Main Duties/Responsibilities

  • Leads in the development and improvement of assigned product categories.
  • Coordinates with and assists other R&D Specialists to ensure required parameters of assigned product category and process development and improvement projects, including reformulation and re-engineering are met.
  • Recommends and implements the review/study of food manufacturing equipment, process improvements or alternative raw materials for upgrading or updating for commercialization.
  • Responsible for leading innovation projects related to quality consistency and process and cost improvement of assigned products.

Job Qualifications

  • BS Food Technology Grad or BS Major in Food Technology
  • Have at least 1 year of experience in Recipe Development in baking and/or meat lines
  • Self-motivated individuals with a keen sense of leadership, able to problem-solve on their own and with a team.
  • Loves to cook and eat
