KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE

• Responsible for leading of accounting and daily operations for GSF Accounting process areas.
• Timely closing & execution of financial periods as per closing calendar and in accordance with SLA commitments, fully observing Compliance, Internal Audit & SOX requirements.
• Accountable for completeness, accuracy and validity of the actuals reported within process/entity scope.
• Deep expertise, fully knowledgeable of the Worldwide Procedures and compliance requirements for respective areas.
• Regular focus on Balance Sheet reconciliations to minimize open items.
• On the job training for new team members / BPO partners.
• Support auditors and legal authorities with the execution of required activities.
• Understand, adhere, and execute per worldwide policies and procedures. Identify compliance risks and recommend solutions.
• Ensure strong internal controls are in place, in order to achieve "adequate" internal and external audit ratings.
• Assist with global initiatives deployment, performing testing and clean up as necessary.

Daily Tasks

• Clean up of OIM transactions
• Performing of testing requirements for global initiatives.
• Perform review of operations reports.
• Provide improvement areas as applicable

Monthly Tasks

• Report out of summary of clean up and testing completed including status, risks and possible opportunities.
• Documentation of the clean up performed.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, any course with accounting units, or a related field.
• Minimum
  3 years
  of professional experience.
• Minimum
  2 years
  in a Shared Service or BPO organization.
• Experience in participating in Continuous Improvement initiatives
• Experience in Account to Report
  or
  General Accounting
  process.
• Must have experience in
  SAP
  or
  SAP S4 HANA
  .
• Supervisory experience
  or
  experience as reviewer.
• Experience in migration of work.
• Solid US GAAP accounting knowledge.
• Digital/intelligent automation capabilities is good to have.
• Successfully manage multiple priorities, be very organized and work efficiently to tight deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with employees at all levels.
• Ability to frame clear & concise communication across all relevant stakeholders.
• Open to new ideas, rapid change and embracing new technologies.
• Ability to handle ambiguity and fluid situations, demonstrating a pragmatic approach.
• Open to work in flexible shifts to align with global or regional responsibilities (Americas / EMEA / Asia)
• Will lead or participate in Regional/ Global/ Cross functional duties as assigned.
