Events Associate supports the planning and execution of brand events, consumer activations, and grassroots community initiatives. This role helps bring brand experiences to life by coordinating logistics, assisting in partner engagement, and supporting the team in creating culturally relevant, impactful events.

Working closely with the Community and Events Executive, this role also contributes to building strong relationships with local communities, influencers, and brand advocates.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

Brand Events & Activations

  • Lead planning, execution, and post-evaluation of consumer events for B&W
  • Translate brand calendars into impactful on-ground experiences
  • Collaborate with internal teams and agencies for creative event concepts
  • Manage procurement for venues, production, talent, and merchandise — ensuring timely sourcing within budget and compliance

Partnerships & Collaborations

  • Identify and negotiate with brand partners, orgs, and talent aligned with campaign goals
  • Maintain a partner network (e.g. media, influencers, lifestyle communities)
  • Drive value-added exposure and shared resources through strategic tie-ups

Community Engagement

  • Oversee engagement strategies for key groups (e.g. salons, beauty advocates, micro-influencers)
  • Work closely with Community Relations Associates (CRAs) to execute plans

Budget and Reporting

  • Manage event and partnership budgets
  • Track and analyze activation performance, providing insights and recommendations for future executions
