About the role

Felport International Marketing is seeking a talented Field Technical Staff to join our dynamic team in Quezon City, Metro Manila. As a Field Technical Staff, you are responsible for conducting onsite visits to take precise physical/actual measurements of project sites and prepare basic layout sketches. These preliminary layouts serve as the foundation for detailed CAD drawings produced by the AutoCAD team. The role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and effective communication with both site personnel and design teams.

What you'll be doing

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Site Measurement & Inspection:

  2. Visit project sites to perform accurate field measurements of structures, spaces, and installation areas.

  3. Use tools such as laser measures, tape measures, and levels to ensure precision.

  4. Preliminary Layout Preparation:

  5. Draft clear and scaled hand sketches or layout drawings on-site based on measurements.

  6. Ensure the layout includes critical dimensions, structural elements, openings, and utility placements.

  7. Data Documentation & Reporting:

  8. Record all measurements and observations clearly, including site conditions or irregularities.

  9. Organize site notes, photographs, and sketches into comprehensive field reports.

  10. Coordination with CAD Team:

  11. Submit complete and accurate layout sketches to AutoCAD operators for final drawing preparation.

  12. Clarify and verify details with CAD team to ensure accuracy in final outputs.

  13. Collaboration & Communication:

  14. Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, or clients during site visits if needed.

  15. Report any discrepancies or potential site issues affecting design or installation.

  16. Quality & Compliance:

  17. Ensure all site measurements and layouts comply with company standards and project requirements.

  18. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations during site visits.

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum of 6 months of experience in a technical support or field service role, preferably in the graphic design industry
  2. Strong technical knowledge and understanding of graphic design software, tools, and processes
  3. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to quickly identify and resolve client issues
  4. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with clients and the design team
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet tight deadlines
  6. Willingness to travel to client sites as needed
