Job Title: Maintenance Staff

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Staff is responsible for the inspection, repair, and maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role ensures the efficient and safe operation of all equipment and systems within the facility of office and restaurant branches, identifying issues, troubleshooting problems, and performing preventive maintenance to support optimal environmental conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, including components like compressors, motors, thermostats, filters, and blowers.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions in HVAC systems and equipment; make necessary repairs or adjustments.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on all HVAC systems to ensure operational efficiency and to prevent unexpected breakdowns.
  • Inspect and test HVAC equipment, replace parts, clean systems, and lubricate moving components as necessary.
  • Use diagnostic equipment to identify HVAC system issues, read blueprints, technical diagrams, and manufacturer manuals for system troubleshooting.
  • Respond to emergency service calls to fix malfunctioning HVAC units promptly, minimizing downtime.
  • Monitor and regulate building temperature control systems, ensuring indoor air quality standards are met for health and safety.
  • Conduct tests to measure refrigerant levels, inspect gas, and oil connections for leaks, and adjust or repair where needed.
  • Ensure HVAC systems comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment; report safety hazards and help prevent accidents.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and adjustments.
  • Report equipment performance, safety concerns, and potential improvements to supervisors or facility management.

Working Conditions:

This position may require work in both indoor and outdoor environments, with occasional exposure to extreme temperatures, heights, and potential hazards. PPE will be provided and is mandatory in certain areas.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED; relevant technical training or certification in HVAC systems is preferred.
  • 1 year of experience in HVAC maintenance or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of HVAC systems, including mechanical and electrical components, diagnostics, and repair techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php28, Php30,000.00 per month
