What is the job?

The Assistant Property Manager is responsible in supporting the Property Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and maintaining compliance with local property regulations. This role covers administrative, financial, leasing, and operational responsibilities to ensure efficient property management and a high standard of service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Has experience serving as the main point of contact for tenants, handling inquiries, concerns, and service requests professionally.
  • Able to coordinate maintenance, repairs, inspections, and vendor services, ensuring timely and high-quality completion.
  • Experienced in assisting with tenant move-ins, move-outs, leasing activities, and ensuring full lease compliance.
  • Skilled in providing administrative and financial support, including preparing reports, maintaining records, processing rent collections, and managing payments.
  • Capable of collaborating with accounting to resolve billing discrepancies and efficiently manage accounts receivable/payable.
  • Supports the Property Manager in budget preparation, expense reconciliation, and ensuring compliance with relevant property laws.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a stable employment history.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer-facing or administrative role, preferably in real estate or property management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
