About the Role

The Sr. Procurement Operations Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring seamless procurement operations, driving efficiency, and maintaining compliance across the organization. Supporting primarily the Technology function, you will oversee the sourcing and procurement of both software and hardware solutions while ensuring that all purchases align with company policies, budgets, and strategic objectives.

This role requires expertise in technology sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiation, paired with strong collaboration across Finance, Legal, IT, Security, and other business partners. You'll not only manage day-to-day procurement cycles but also identify opportunities for process improvement, cost optimization, and supplier performance management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and oversee purchase request workflows, ensuring timely and compliant procurement cycles.
  • Manage vendors and end-to-end procurement transactions in accordance with policies, budgets, and internal controls.
  • Guide employees through process updates, policy changes, and system adoption to ensure effective procurement operations.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal, IT, Security, HR/People, and FP&A to align procurement activities with business needs.
  • Support sourcing strategies by assisting requesters in identifying potential suppliers and evaluating vendor capabilities.
  • Monitor purchase requests, conduct PO reviews, and ensure contracts and vendor documentation (Quotations, MSAs, SOWs) are properly secured.
  • Partner with Accounts Payable for PO validation and address finance-related inquiries.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency, automation, and compliance.
  • Provide reporting, insights, and ad-hoc support to managers and business partners.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in Sourcing & Procurement, with proven expertise in technology procurement (enterprise software, IT infrastructure, cloud services, subscription models, and emerging tech).
  • Demonstrated success managing end-to-end procurement processes, including PR/PO creation, contract management, and supplier evaluation.
  • Strong vendor negotiation, relationship management, and cost optimization skills.
  • High proficiency in MS Excel and/or Google Sheets, with the ability to analyze data for decision-making.
  • Experience using procurement tools, ticketing systems, or email management platforms.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities, and comfort working under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to partner across functions and geographies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with procurement systems (e.g., Coupa, SAP Ariba, NetSuite).
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS, PMP, or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of global supply chain and compliance practices.
