Job Responsibilities:

As a Collection Specialist in Accounts Receivable, you will:

  • Provide excellent credit and collection activities to company's customers.
  • Apply knowledge and system resources to assist customers in identifying and resolving symptoms and issues.
  • Review and release orders related to assigned accounts that are placed on hold promptly.
  • Ensure individual transaction management aligns with client agreements.
  • Escalate delinquent customers to the team leader, supervisor, and division POC for actions such as warranty cancellation, credit hold, or credit limit reduction.
  • Assist in the training of new hires and collection trainees.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement operational improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
  • At least years of work experience in collections or Accounting-related fields.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Related experience in shared services industries such as:
  • Business-to-business collections
  • Order entry
  • Customer service
  • Accounts payable
  • Cash applications
  • Accounts receivables
