DMV Home Addition Contractor is a leading design and build company specializing in home additions, remodels, and renovations across the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area.

We're looking for a YouTube Channel Manager & SEO Specialist to help grow our online presence, increase views and subscribers, and reach more homeowners through high-quality, informative video content.

You'll manage our YouTube channel, optimize SEO, and develop strategies to expand our visibility and brand reputation in the home improvement industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize our YouTube channel — upload videos, write SEO-friendly titles, descriptions, and tags.
  • Conduct keyword research and apply best SEO practices for higher search rankings.
  • Create engaging thumbnails, video titles, and metadata to increase click-through rates.
  • Develop and execute a content strategy to grow subscribers and viewer engagement.
  • Analyze YouTube performance metrics to improve results and reach.
  • Manage playlists, cards, end screens, and captions for better user experience.
  • Work closely with the videographer and editor to ensure brand consistency.
  • Research competitor channels and identify growth opportunities.
  • Assist with basic Google SEO and cross-platform promotion.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing and growing YouTube channels (preferably in home improvement, real estate, or design).
  • Strong knowledge of YouTube SEO and analytics.
  • Experience using tools such as TubeBuddy, VidIQ, or similar.
  • Excellent English writing and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work during U.S. EST hours.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience creating thumbnails or graphics using Canva or Photoshop.
  • Familiarity with YouTube Shorts optimization.
  • Basic understanding of Google SEO and social media promotion.
