Position Overview

The Social Media Officer is responsible for planning, creating, and managing engaging content across all social media platforms to enhance the company's online presence, attract new audiences, and strengthen brand engagement. This role involves strategic planning, creative storytelling, and active coordination with internal teams to ensure all social content aligns with the company's goals, tone, and branding

Key Responsibilities
1. Content Creation & Management
  • Develop, plan, and execute social media campaigns that align with marketing strategies.

  • Create and curate high-quality, engaging content (graphics, videos, captions, and stories).

  • Manage posting schedules across multiple platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X).

  • Ensure brand consistency in visuals, tone, and messaging across all channels.

  • Collaborate with the design and operations teams for promotional or recruitment content.

2. Community Engagement
  • Respond to messages, comments, and inquiries promptly and professionally.

  • Build and maintain strong online relationships with followers and clients.

  • Monitor conversations and feedback to maintain a positive brand image.

  • Implement engagement tactics such as polls, Q&As, contests, and live events.

3. Analytics & Reporting
  • Track and analyze performance metrics (reach, engagement, followers, conversions).

  • Prepare regular reports on campaign effectiveness and audience insights.

  • Identify trends and recommend adjustments to improve engagement and growth.

  • Use analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social).

4. Strategy & Collaboration
  • Support the development of short- and long-term social media strategies.

  • Research market trends, competitor activities, and audience preferences.

  • Collaborate with HR, Recruitment, and Operations teams for company updates and campaigns.

  • Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.

5. Brand & Compliance
  • Ensure all social content complies with company policies and relevant industry regulations.

  • Protect company reputation by maintaining a professional and ethical online presence.

  • Uphold data privacy, confidentiality, and respect when handling sensitive information.
