Location: Bellshayce Foods, Inc. – Cebu City Plant

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Description:

We are seeking a Laboratory Analyst – Microbiologist to join our team. The role will focus on microbiological testing, quality assurance, and compliance with food safety protocols to ensure product integrity and consumer safety.

What You'll Do:

  • Conduct microbiological analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
  • Perform environmental monitoring including surface swabbing and air sampling
  • Prepare and maintain culture media and laboratory reagents
  • Accurately document test results and maintain lab records
  • Assist in investigating microbiological non-conformities and implementing corrective actions
  • Ensure all tests are performed according to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Comply with company safety and sanitation policies at all times

What We're Looking For:

  • Graduate of BS in Microbiology, BS Chemistry, BS Food Technology, or BS Chemical Engineering
  • With relevant laboratory experience, preferably in a food manufacturing or processing environment
  • Knowledgeable in microbiological testing, food safety protocols, and GMP/HACCP standards
  • Skilled in the proper handling of laboratory equipment and materials
  • Detail-oriented, with excellent documentation and reporting skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment

About the Role:

As a Laboratory Analyst – Microbiologist, you will play a key role in safeguarding product quality and ensuring food safety compliance. You will work closely with the QA team to monitor, analyze, and report microbiological data, contributing to Bellshayce Foods' commitment to delivering safe and high-quality products.
