About the role

As a Chemist/Laboratory Analyst, you will play a vital role within the laboratory division of our client, whose business offers services such as laboratory testing, inspection, consulting, and auditing to ensure compliance with global standards across various industries. In this full-time, on-site position based in Makati City Metro Manila, you will use your expertise to perform essential laboratory and technical tasks that contribute directly to the organization's strategic objectives.

What you'll be doing

  1. Conducting a range of chemical analyses, experiments, and testing procedures to support ongoing research and development initiatives
  2. Operating and maintaining scientific instrumentation and equipment with a high degree of accuracy and precision
  3. Collecting, recording, and analyzing data from various experiments and research activities
  4. Preparing chemical solutions, samples, and reagents according to established protocols
  5. Documenting findings and results in detailed reports and contributing to the interpretation and presentation of data
  6. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, identify areas for improvement, and implement new methods or techniques
  7. Adhering to strict safety guidelines and laboratory procedures to ensure a safe working environment

What we're looking for

  1. Graduate of BS Chemistry.
  2. Licensed Chemical Technician and Chemist is required for the role.
  3. Fresh graduates with PRC License are welcome to apply.
  4. Demonstrable experience working as a chemical technician or in a similar laboratory-based role
  5. Proficiency in the use of scientific equipment, instrumentation, and analytical techniques
  6. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, reliable results
  7. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to troubleshoot issues and identify solutions
  8. Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively within a team
